The C-Store Associate is responsible for customer service, sales, inventory, and maintenance of the C-Store. The position is also responsible for providing excellent service to members and patrons, working as a team, accurate transactions, and following safety policies and procedures. (This may be a FT or PT position)
Duties & Responsibilities Include:
- Provides excellent customer service.
- Responsible for promoting and selling products and services.
- Accurately balances the cash drawer, daily sales, and inventory.
- Responsible for ensuring that interior and exterior of fuel facility are neat, clean, and in good condition, and report to the C-Store Manager any issues that may need resolution.
- Works cooperatively with other locations to help ensure company goals are met.
- Provides excellent customer service by managing difficult or emotional situations, responding promptly to customer needs, resolving questions, complaints, and concerns immediately and meeting commitments.
- Effectively communicates by verbal and written means with customers, employees, and management.
- Maintains and promotes safety awareness; follows safety policies, procedures, and reporting requirements
- Understands and complies with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Ability to work schedules that vary with prompt and regular attendance.
- Presents a clean and professional appearance.
- Responsible for prompt and regular attendance.
- Employee is required to perform all other duties as assigned.
